Why I’m Taking Part

ANZUP's mission is to improve the lives of people affected by Below the Belt (bladder, kidney, testicular, penile and prostate) cancers through practice changing multidisciplinary collaborative clinical trials. Since 2008, over 8,000 have been enrolled in 33 National and International Clinical Trials that have resulted in life-changing outcomes. Our dedicated team and membership are committed to helping more people like the almost 35,000 people in Australia and over 5,500 people in New Zealand diagnosed by a Below the Belt Cancer each year, 111 diagnosed every day! This one is for Pa, I miss you every day and I wish Kidney Cancer did not take you away too soon.

28 Waves over the long weekend (10 on Saturday, 10 on Sunday and 8 on Monday when it was very small) from a pretty glorious location. Also shared with my daughter and thinking about those that we can help by raising much needed funds for life changing clinical trials research. I am going to have to focus to make the 111 waves this month! Hard with a busy schedule but always good to think about self-care and keep myself strong enough to fight for those diagnosed with Below the Belt Cancers.
